MEBO Launched New Initiative at the Second United Nations Global Sustainable Transport Conference

  On the evening of October 14, the second United Nations Global Sustainable Transport Conference was held in Beijing. President Xi Jinping attended the conference by video and delivered a keynote speech entitled "Interconnect with the World and Connect with the Times, Stride Forward on the Road of Sustainable Development".
 
  Governments, companies, and transportation experts from all over the world gathered at this conference to talk about such topics as how sustainable transportation could help economic recovery, improve people’s livelihoods, and mitigate the effect of climate change. The United Nations launched "36733" initiative, "Establishing a Global Disaster and Rescue Network Initiative”, and "Building a Global Wound Repair Network Initiative”. Following that, MEBO proposed the “Allocation of Medical Resources for Burns, Wounds and Ulcers at Medical Sites” initiative (United Nations Initiative Number: 39008) to make the diagnosis and treatment of burns, wounds and ulcers more accessible and convenient.
 
  The conference was held in Beijing both online and offline. Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, Ethiopian President Sahel-Walker, Panamanian President Cortiso, Dutch Prime Minister Rutte, and UN Secretary-General Guterres were invited to deliver speeches by video.
