MEBO Group Attends Pacific Climate and Environment Innovation Forum to Advance Island Climate Resilience Cooperation

From July 1 to 3, 2026, Dr. Tao Guoxin, Chief of Staff of MEBO Group, attended the inaugural Pacific Innovation Forum on Climate and the Environment (PIFCE) (Wave Makers) in Vanuatu on behalf of Kevin Xu.

Held under the theme “Champions of Innovation for Sustainable and Resilient Futures: Harnessing Ideas and Knowledge to Advance Pacific Solutions,” the forum convened government leaders, policymakers, development agencies, and innovators to address urgent challenges facing Pacific Island nations, including climate change adaptation, marine ecosystem protection, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable economic development.

During the forum, Dr. Tao held meetings with Jotham Napat, as well as senior representatives from Tuvalu and the Federated States of Micronesia. Discussions focused on climate resilience strategies, public health preparedness, and the integration of innovative medical and ecological solutions to strengthen island communities’ long-term adaptive capacity.

Dr. Tao also presented MEBO Group’s experience in regenerative medicine and emergency response systems, exploring opportunities to integrate biomedical innovation with nature-based climate adaptation approaches in disaster relief, community health protection, and marine ecosystem conservation.

The participation further reflects MEBO Group’s commitment to sustainable development cooperation and its expanding engagement in the South Pacific region, aiming to support resilient, inclusive, and long-term ecological development pathways.
