MEBO Representative Attends Inaugural Balkan Forward Summit
On February 5, 2026 (ET), the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center hosted the inaugural Balkan Forward Summit at its global headquarters in Washington, D.C. Tao Guoxin, Chief of Staff of MEBO Group, attended on behalf of Chairman Kevin Xu, former Chair of the APEC Host Committee, engaging with international leaders on regional development and transatlantic cooperation.
Held at a pivotal moment for the Western Balkans, the half-day summit convened Southeast European leaders to discuss 2026 priorities, regional economic integration, and Euro-Atlantic collaboration. Heads of state and senior officials from Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia participated.
MEBO’s attendance reflects its continued engagement with Europe, building on initiatives such as the 2022 European Regenerative Medicine Network program and ongoing multilateral cooperation efforts, further strengthening regional partnerships in healthcare and sustainable development.
