On December 17, MEBO Group celebrated a milestone partnership with Nankai University, marking the unveiling of the "Rongxiang Building" and the awarding of the 2024 MEBO Doctoral Scholarship. This event, held at the Haibing Building on Nankai’s Jinnan Campus, underscored MEBO Group's unwavering commitment to educational development.

MEBO’s Continued Support for Nankai University

Since 2016, MEBO Group has been a key benefactor of Nankai University, having donated 50 million RMB to support the university’s educational mission. In 2024, MEBO Group increased its contribution with a 6.8 million RMB donation, funding the construction of the prestigious Zhou Enlai Auditorium. The official donation agreement was signed by Li Li, Senior Trustee of Nankai University and Vice Chairman of MEBO Group, and Chen Yulu, President of Nankai University.

MEBO Doctoral Scholarship Boosts Academic Excellence

Established in 2018, the "MEBO Doctoral Scholarship for Outstanding Students" has been instrumental in attracting top talent to Nankai University’s School of Life Sciences. In 2024, 30 students received the scholarship, which significantly enhances the university’s ability to cultivate top-tier research talent. During the ceremony, Li Li and Chen Yulu presented certificates to the deserving recipients.

Rongxiang Building: A New Hub for Innovation

The completion of Rongxiang Building marks a pivotal development in Nankai University's "Double First Class" initiative. The new facility will foster interdisciplinary research and innovation, empowering students and faculty to generate impactful scientific breakthroughs. Both Li Li and Nankai University’s Vice Secretary, Niu Wenli, expressed optimism about the future collaboration between MEBO and Nankai University, aiming to further advance academic and scientific progress.
