MEBO International Chairman Kevin Xu Appointed to San Francisco Zoo Board

On April 20, 2024, Kevin Xu, Chairman of MEBO International, was appointed to the San Francisco Zoo's Board of Directors. This significant appointment came during Xu's visit to the zoo, where he met with Zoo Director Tanya Peterson.

 

The San Francisco Zoo is set to welcome its first pair of giant pandas in decades, thanks to a signed agreement between the China Wildlife Conservation Association and the zoo. This landmark event, scheduled for 2025, symbolizes a deepening of China-U.S. friendship and cooperation.

 

Located on the Pacific coast, the San Francisco Zoo is home to over 1,000 animals across 250 species. The zoo serves as an urban oasis, showcasing a mix of native and exotic plants alongside rare and rescued animals.
