Prior to the summit, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar held a special meeting with Kevin Xu in the VIP room, introducing high-quality projects. They discussed initiatives such as the United Nations' "Every Woman Every Child". The meeting was originally scheduled as a private dinner on November 14 hosted by Kevin Xu.
MEBO Group has a deep collaborative foundation with Malaysia, one of the APEC economies. MEBO Group's products and technology currently serve over 50 public hospitals and more than 100 private hospitals and clinics in Malaysia. Additionally, through local pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution networks, they cover approximately 1,000 pharmacies across the northern, eastern, and Kuala Lumpur regions. Core public hospitals include Kuala Lumpur Central Hospital (HKL), while private hospitals include Prince Court, Sunway Group, and Pentai Group chain hospitals, among others.
In 2022, in order to accelerate the overseas market development of the group and establish a regional production, research, and training center, the group initiated an investment project in Malaysia to build a manufacturing plant. In early 2023, MEBO officially established MEBO REGEN WORLD Limited, focusing on the local production of herbal medicine, health products, and medical equipment.
Building upon the existing cooperation, both parties expressed their commitment to expanding cooperation in economic, cultural, tourism, education, and research fields. They aim to continuously strengthen friendly relations, infusing new meaning and injecting fresh impetus into a more comprehensive strategic partnership.
