Red Panda "Little MEBO" Debuts at San Francisco Zoo's Youth Exploration Zone

The San Francisco Zoological Society (SFZS) proudly announced on June 21, 2024, the official debut of "Little MEBO," the charming red panda, in the Youth Exploration Zone’s Red Panda Treehouse. Named in May 2024, Little MEBO has quickly become a highlight for zoo visitors.

A Special Gift at the Clinton Foundation Gala

During the recent Clinton Foundation Annual Gala, Kevin Xu, Chairman of MEBO Group, gifted President Clinton a unique painting created by Little MEBO using its paw prints. This artwork not only showcased the playful nature of the red panda but also symbolized the harmony between nature and life, receiving widespread praise from the attendees.

Kevin Xu’s Connection with the San Francisco Zoo

Kevin Xu has a long-standing relationship with the San Francisco Zoo. In February 2024, he visited the zoo and met with Zoo Director Tanya Peterson. Following this visit, Xu joined the zoo's board of directors, infusing new energy and optimism into this vibrant sanctuary.

Situated along the picturesque Pacific coastline, the San Francisco Zoo is home to over 1,000 animals from more than 250 rare species, many of which are endangered, rescued, or exotic. The zoo's beautiful gardens, filled with native and foreign plants, provide a tranquil and scenic environment. With Kevin Xu's involvement and the arrival of giant pandas, this urban oasis is poised to become even more enchanting.
