“Light of Regeneration” Gala Marks 10th Anniversary of Rongxiang Xu College at Cal State LA

On May 16, the 10th anniversary gala of the Rongxiang Xu College of Health and Human Services was successfully held at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex in Los Angeles. Hosted by the National Rongxiang Xu Foundation, the “Light of Regeneration” gala brought together renowned artists from around the world and thousands of audience members to celebrate a decade of educational and cultural achievement.

The evening featured performances spanning music, opera, dance, comedy, and poetry, creating a vibrant showcase of Chinese culture and artistic exchange. Featured performers included Lingyu Li, Dong Wenhua, Dai Yuqiang, and renowned Peking Opera artist Hu Wenge. Director Hu Mei and actor Li Dongxue also shared stories from the upcoming film inspired by Rongxiang Xu.

 

Established in 2016, the college became the first school in the history of California State University Los Angeles to be named after a Chinese scientist. Over the past decade, it has grown into a leading institution in health, nursing, and public service education, serving more than 7,000 students.

The gala celebrated not only the college’s milestone anniversary, but also the enduring spirit of regenerative science, cultural dialogue, and public service.
