MEBO Group Chairman Kevin Xu Spearheads Innovation at Oxford’s Rhodes Forum on Technology and Society
Kevin Xu, Chairman of MEBO Group and founder of the Rhodes Forum on Technology and Society, delivered the keynote address at this year’s prestigious event at Oxford University. Emphasizing the forum’s mission, Xu highlighted the transformative potential of global collaboration among top innovators. He remarked, “The Rhodes Forum unites the architects of tomorrow’s technology—leaders who bring unmatched talent, a shared vision, and a commitment to leveraging science for a better world.”
Xu also awarded the winners of the EquiTech Futures Innovation Challenge and shared words of encouragement for young scholars through a video interview, stressing his hope for a new generation of pioneering thinkers.
Launched in 2021 by Rhodes College, the *Kevin Xu Initiative (KXI)* advances research in science, technology, and societal progress, forming partnerships across universities and scholarship programs. KXI supports over 200 innovators from 50+ countries, fostering transformative thought through virtual academies, research fellowships, and entrepreneurial incubators.
The EquiTech Futures Scholar Program, a core KXI initiative, empowers emerging leaders with interdisciplinary skills and practical solutions for global challenges. Recently, KXI launched the *KXI-APEC Fund*, building a global AI leadership network.
