In order to implement the decisions of CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and to ensure drug use for insured individuals, National Healthcare Security Administration and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security organized experts to formulate the "National Drug Catalog for Basic Medical Insurance, Work-related Injury Insurance, and Maternity Insurance (2021)" (hereinafter referred to as the "2021 Drug Catalog"), which was published on December 3rd, 2021. MEBO was included into 2021 Drug Catalog again (Chinese Patent Medicine), numbered 870.
