April 11, 2007, out of admiration for a person, anthropologist Ms. Margaret Sleeboom-Faulkner came to MEBO and called on Prof. Rongxiang Xu, Chairman of MEBO International Group.

Present research project of Ms. Margaret is facilitation or hindrance action for science by legislation or policy control of life science study domain of different countries. She hoped to learn how the world’s prominent scientist views his own work and scientific thinking. Recently, she visited many scientists of adult stem cells, cord blood stem cells, embryonic stem cells, and investigated their scientific thoughts. By recommendation of many Swedish scientists, she knew the MEBO achievement of using stem cells to regenerate burn skin and gastrointestinal organs in situ. So, it is her aim of visiting MEBO and Prof. Xu.

Prof. welcomed Ms. Margaret warmly, introduced invention and research results of human secondary life cells, and showed scientific experiment outcomes and lots of successful clinical cases of every human tissue organ in situ and overcoming cancer by the means of this invention. Ms. Margaret expressed a great interest with advanced character of this invention and was amazed greatly. She felt very pity when learning that this technique had been released by US News Weekend as long ago as in 1990, and up to now, there are still many scientists stayed in wrong way in traditional study. She believed this technique is free from ethics hindrance of studying on embryonic stem cells, free from legislation or policy restriction on life science research and it is easy to understand its theory system. Now that this technique has achieved success in scientific experiments and clinic application, it should be imparted.

The visit of Ms. Margaret would promote the academic communication between MEBO International Group and world life science domain, enhance the generalization of MEBO patents’ technique, and realize the goal of benefiting mankind as soon as possible.
